Death is the most inevitable event that we are least prepared for. Ironically, it often takes a brush with death to remind us of how precious life really is.
This 30-day church-wide journey before Easter (February 21-March 21) will encourage us to evaluate our lives in light of life’s brevity and death’s certainty.
Sermon messages, small groups, and individual devotional reading will center on four themes:
- SPEAK SWEETER. Remind your loved ones that they are loved. Say it now. Don’t wait for tomorrow.
- LOVE DEEPER. You can’t control the length of your life. Just the depth. Start now to strengthen your relationships.
- GIVE FORGIVENESS. Receive God’s forgiveness and extend it to others. Life is too short to hold onto bitterness.
- EMBRACE ETERNITY. The measure of life is living for that which outlasts it. Only in God can you touch the eternal.
You are welcome to join us on this journey! Attend the Sunday services, join a small group, and commit to the daily devotional ready.
Sign ups for small groups will begin on Sunday, January 31. You can sign up at the LLYWD table in the foyer. At the table, you can also pick up the devotional book that will be used during the campaign. The cost per book is $7.
